Welcome to St Georges Church School and Nursery

Hello and welcome to our incredible school. It is such a joy to be a member of the St Georges Church School community and a privilege to be leading a school that has such a wonderful community at its heart. I am proud to lead such an inclusive school, where each child is nurtured and supported to thrive. Working in partnership with parents and carers, we create a strong sense of community and belonging for our children. 

Our vision "All things are possible for one who believes" (Mark 9:23) shapes everything that we do. As St Georges citizens, we learn to be stewards of the Earth - caring for one another, our environment and the future. We are developing our curriculum even further to instil a love of learning in all of our children and to help them to build connections locally, nationally and globally with their own diverse experiences. 

We love to learn, and we want every child to share in this excitement. Our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and build a lifelong love and understanding of learning, preparing our children to become future engineers, writers, artists, scientists and so much more. 

We are a church school with links to three local churches: Milton Methodist, Worle Baptist and St Mark's C of E. We share a daily Worship as a whole school and have regular visits from our churches to bring the church to St Georges. Our daily Worships link to core Christian Values and we consider stories and teaching from many faiths and non-faith views as part of our Worship cycle to ensure that our children learn to celebrate diversity.
