Nursery Assistant

20 hours per week

SCP 4-5 £18,933 - £19,312 pro rata

Term Time only

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable Nursery Assistant to join our happy team. The school, which opened in September 2006, works with the partnerships of the community as well as the Anglican, Methodist and Baptist churches.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Have the skills to provide high quality, inclusive and fully integrated early years provision for the nursery children
  • Be able to assist in ensuring a stable, caring and supportive environment, which facilitates the children’s personal, social and moral development
  • Be responsible for supervising the activities of children within the nursery, including both indoor and outdoor areas, ensuring a safe environment is maintained at all times
  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years.

St Georges Church School and Nursery have a vacancy for friendly, reliable people to join our team of MDSAs (Midday Supervisory Assistant). You will be required to work as part of a team to ensure pupils have a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment during lunch times.

 

Full training and support will be given to the successful applicants.

Job description and application form for MDSA

We are recruiting for Casual Nursery staff.  

We are looking for people who would like to work on a casual basis. If you are able to help out when we need extra cover, you are welcome to apply for a position as a casual cleaner or casual MDSA.

 

We are looking for people to join our Nursery Team on a casual basis. You will need to have a level 3 or above qualification in Early Years. This needs to be 'full and relevant' in line with government guidance on staffing in Early Years settings. Please ask for more information.
